FAQ

When is the best time to visit Thailand?
From November until May.

How warm is the sea?
26-30 degrees centigrade.

How far is your Dive School from the sea?
Less than a minute's walk!

What kind of boats do you go diving with and how far are the dive sites?
The sites south of Phuket are between 1 to 2 hours depending on where you go and we use large, comfortable daytrip boats to go there (2-4 dives). For the Similan Islands we have a purpose-built speedboat that leaves from our beach at Nai Yang and takes about 2 hours (3 dives). We also have house-reefs only 5-10 minutes away by small boat, so you can dive almost any time you like!

Is it raining all the time in the low season?
No, not at all, it's often warm and sunny with clear blue sky

Can you go diving year-round?
Yes, all 365 days!

Which type of wetsuit do you recommend for Thailand?
3-5mm, long or shorty.

Do I have to bring my own equipment?
No, we have everything available.

Can I buy diving equipment in Phuket?
Yes, we can advise you and arrange discounts at most dive shops. We also sell everything in our new divecenter you might need!

Can we go diving/snorkelling to the Similan Islands year-round?
Yes, normally you can, but in the low-season the conditions are sometimes not good enough.

Can we see large fish?
Yes, you can, on the appropriate dive sites; like reefsharks, whalesharks, leopard sharks, turtles, mantas etc.

What about safaris?
You decide where you want to go and for how long - just leave the organisation and booking to us. The minimum is 2 days/1 night. The maximum is up to you!

I'm a beginner - is this a problem?
Not at all! Our well-educated instructors will teach and help you.

PADI Open Water Diver  (OWD)  4 days / 4 dives
PADI Scuba Diver  (= OWD)  2 days / 2 dives
