| It was the year 1998, in which we started to look for a new challenge. We, that's Wolfgang Sauerhammer (Wolf) and Marion Weinbuch (Meja), two experienced travelers, have explored a lot of different places in South-East Asia. For more than 18 years now, we have traveled across the continent, searching for adventure. |
| This year we packed our backpacks again, but with another target. We wanted to find a new home and a new challenge. This challenge should be a diving base. Not just any diving base, we have had a clear vision and exact expectations which didn't make the search very easy. It wasn't clear where we would stay in the end. |

| We traveled through the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, back to the Philippines and even to Australia. No place seemed to be the right one for us. So we went back to Thailand. This time in 2001, in the Sirinat National Park on the Beach of Nai Yang, in the North of Phuket, it was a lucky circumstance, which made us stay here. We were just looking for affordable accommodation and the local people sent us to the Diveschool in the Pearl Village Hotel (now Indigo Pearl), we liked it immediately. Meja wanted to complete her Divemaster course anyway... |
Now, we have found the right Place for us, here in Nai Yang, a very special Place! |
