With a
little delay we finally could open our
new shop. The Shop is located in the
newly established Nai Yang Plaza
in the Nai Yang Beach Resort, which was
completely renovated last year with many
new buildings now.

In the new
shop we can offer a greater variety of
items and we are easier to be found.

Our
boats Kon Tiki and Choctip are in
the water and enjoyable trips are
happening every day.

The Phi Phi day
trip has been very successful this
season with regular sightings of
leopard sharks, turtles, and black
tip reef sharks. We are also pleased
to announce that there are some
pleasant new additions to Ko Waeo
and our house reefs. On 5 December
2009, 583 turtles were released to
celebrate His Majesty the King’s
birthday. The turtles have been
making their way around Phuket and
several of them have arrived to Ko
Waeo and our house reefs. Divers
have spotted them for the past few
weeks and are happy to welcome them
to Nai Yang.

Another pleasant discovery to report:
a marble stingray was recently
spotted on one of our house reefs.
Divers were mesmerized by this
beautiful ray lying in the sand and
remarked on its impressive three
meter tail after the dive.
Congratulations to Alexis Stavro who
recently completed his Divemaster
course. Paradise Diving is proud to
have trained Alex and helped him
become a PADI professional. We offer
courses from beginner to instructor
and can obtain books and other
learning materials in almost any
language. Our staff speaks the
following languages: Russian,
Italian, Spanish, German, French,
Romanian, Thai and English.
We
recently added a new shop in front
of the Nai Yang Beach Resort
specializing in equipment sales.
This gives us a more visible
presence in Nai Yang making it
easier for us to reach people who
are not staying at the Indigo Pearl.
The new shop is visible from the
road and lets people know that we
can help them to book excursions in
and around Phuket, not only diving
and snorkeling.
All
excursions are done by speedboat.
This is because the speedboats are
more comfortable, faster, and offer
the customers more shade than a
longtail boat. The speedboats also
have better insurance and allow us
to offer a larger variety of trips
to our customers.
Best Regards
Yours Dive-Paradise Team
Thank you Greg and Helen for these
