Final preparation’s are being made to our boats KONTIKI (above) and CHOCTIP ready for the upcoming high season with all new paint work cleaning and engine servicing to ensure our guests get nothing but the best service from Paradise Diving. Kontiki will be used for our local house reef diving, giving divers access to all our local dive and snorkeling sites in only 5 mins direct from Nai Yang beach.

Where as CHOCTIP is getting the most work done this year with new paint, new canopy, and NEW tank rack to hold 10 tanks with equipment which means no more climbing over the equipment on the floor.I’m sure you all agree this is a great idea by the wolfman (and dave) ;-) CHOCTIP will be used for our special 3 dive phi phi trip as well as james bond, phangna and our exclusive lagoon party trip.

Good News, Paradise Diving Asia is happy and proud to present our new dive shop right at Nai Yang Beach from the first of October 09 at the new Plaza in front of the Nai Yang Beach Resort, next to our loved Indigo Pearl Resort & Spa Hotel. Now you will be able to find all Equipment and Items necessary for diving and snorkeling or other watersport activities right here in Nai Yang close to the beach as well as professional assistance for Padi/CMAS and SSI Courses etc. We still offer also working for education from Beginner to Instructor.

Our special offer for Housereef diving there for will be only 990 Baht (20 Euro) per dive and only 500 Baht (10 Euro) for ½ day snorkeling in 5* Quality. All excursions will be done by special featured Speedboats.

Dear all,

Please be advised that from today on we can't visit our Housereef Divesites anymore because the Wind is too strong, the Lowseason says hello to everybody now.
All Trips from Tab Lamu to Similan etc. will end soon and are limited within this week already.
Of course we can go for diving and snorkeling on a daily base to Racha Yai/Noi, Kingcruiser Wreck, Sharkpoint, Anemone Reef as well as to Phi Phi through the whole
Low season month.
We would like to say thank you to all our guests and look forward to see you again soon....

Around Ko Waeo and on the Tin Mining Wreck we can now see these wonderful fish. It's called "Cobias" an looks very similar to a shark. They come very close but do no harm to divers. This is a very rare experience you can make in the andaman sea.

Now the Emirates Airline makes special promotion for flight from Europe for about 400 US. It's extremely cheap.

Due to the financial crisis, all Accommodation including the Indigo Pearl give big discounts. Please contact us directly for Informations.

The New Visa Regulations, which are hold very strictly, say that Tourist, arriving on the land or sea-way have only permission for a 14 days stay. Arriving by Air ist still 30 days. Make shure you do not overstay! Ask your travel-office to the Thai Embassy for details, before you book your holidays.

Dimanche 22 Juin, pour la seconde fois, le Triathlon, organisé par Triballistic, a eu lieu à l'Indigo pearl. Notre équipe c'est occupée du sauvetage en mer pour la partie Natation. Environ cinquante participants ont bravé les élèments. La prochaine course aura lieu le 11 Octobre 2008, et tout le monde peut participer, 200 personnes dont quelques professionels sont attendus. L’escadrille de Neptune

Cher(e)s Aventurièr(e)s de la mer,

Nous sommes heureux de vous annoncer la naissance d’un nouveau site de plongée qui sera accessible en 20 minutes seulement par Long Tail Boat et pourra se combiner en deux ou trois plongées avec l’épave du Tin Mine et/ou une plongée récif près de l’île de Ko Waeo:

L’arrivée de 4 Douglas C-47 Dakota, avions de transport militaires et 6 helicoptères Sikorsky S-58T démentelés marquent la dernière étape de leur voyage avant d’être coulés dans les eaux de la côte nord-ouest de Phuket

Le 5 Mai 2008, les squelettes de l’avion et les hélicoptères seront déposés dans la mer á 1 kilomètre de la côte pour créer un récif artificiel dans le but d’attirer la vie sous-marine et de devenir un nouveau site de plongée.

Les vieux transporteurs, surnommés “ L’escadrille de Neptune”, ont été fabriqués aux Etats-Unis et ont servi durant la guerre du Vietnam en tant qu’avions espion ou pour les attaques au sol, la Thaïland servant de base á l’armée Américaine.

Le projet á été lancé par L’Assiociation Thaïlandaise de Plongée et en collaboration avec les organismes locaux ainsi que le département de la Marine et des ressources costales et la participation financière du district de Chaerng Talay qui a investi 4 Millions de Bath.

L’escadrille sera disposée de façon concentrique par 15-17m de fond avec 2 hélicoptères entourés de morceaux de fuselage de l’avion et des autres hélicoptères.

Les ailes des hélicoptères ont étés raccourcies et tout composant toxique á été enlevé avant leur départ de la base.

L’escadrille, qui couvrira 2500 m², sera coulée à proximité de l’épave du Tin mine, avec l’aide de la Royal Thai Navy et du Département du Park National. Elle sera fixée au fond avec des bloques de ciment, et la zone sera entourées d’autres cubes de ciment pour éviter que des débris ne soient emportés
